Certification for Translation Services Providers in accordance with ΕΝ 15038
In 2006 the European Committee for Standardisation brought into being EN 15038 aimed at setting a quality standard for translation services.
This standard provides translation providers with the certificate to offer a good quality service guarantee for their clients which meets with independent audit institution requirements

The human resources requirements of the EN 15038, focus primarily on the competencies of the linguistics who work on projects. One of the most important requirements of the technical resources provided by the TSP shall be at a level that ensures safe and confidential handling of the client’s documents. The simplest approach to quality management derives from the well-know standard ISO 9001. Regarding project management the standard requires that each translation should be overseen by a project manager.
